- PURE DATE SYRUP – Our date syrup is made from pure date juice, with no additives or preservatives, making it the perfect healthy syrup to use for smoothies, oatmeal & any other breakfast dishes needing a touch of sweetness.
- USAGE IDEAS – Some wonderful ways to use date syrup include drizzling it on top of oatmeal, pancakes, yogurt, and goat cheese; and incorporating it into smoothies, salad dressings, and meat marinades.
- MIDDLE EASTERN STAPLE – Date syrup is a staple in many Iraqi kitchens. Try mixing some date syrup with radhi to make a well known sweet dip called dibis w’rashi, or drizzled atop geymar for a sweet breakfast item.
- NATURAL SWEETENER – Date syrup is less sweet than agave nectar and honey, but sweeter than granulated sugar. We recommend using about 1/3 cup of date sugar for every cup of sugar, and reduce other liquid ingredients by 1/4 cup for every cup of date syrup used. Like other liquid sweeteners, baking with it requires making some worthwhile adjustments to a recipe.
